Honestly, I expected to be hungry and cut out most of the food I liked. That wasn’t the case. I’ve lost fat and still go out to eat with friends. Understanding portions has probably helped me the most.
A busy week used to mean I’d skip training completely. This time, we adjusted things around the time I actually had, even if I couldn’t do every session. That’s what helped me stick with it.
I’d been training for a while, but I looked pretty much the same. Once we sorted out my food and I started tracking my lifts, my shoulders and chest started filling out. A few people at the gym noticed too.
My energy varied a lot during pregnancy, and I wanted everything to stay within my doctor’s guidance. I appreciated having that understood. I never felt pressured about my weight or how I looked.
With work and the kids, I can’t spend the whole evening at the gym. The sessions fit the time I could give them, and I’m finally training regularly again. I’d missed that.
I don’t have time to make separate meals for myself and the family. Learning how to adjust my portion of whatever we were already eating made things much easier. That was a big help.
I had some muscle, but I wanted to lose the fat covering it. The difference in my photos is clear now, especially around my waist and stomach. I’m happy with where I got to, even though I was getting impatient halfway through.
At first, I’d watch the exercise videos a few times to make sure I understood them. Now I go in and know what I’m doing. I didn’t expect to feel this comfortable in the gym.
I travel a lot, so I don’t always have much choice with food or gyms. Having alternatives helped me keep going with what was available. My last trip went a lot better than the previous ones.
If I ate more than planned, I used to write off the whole day and keep eating. Now I just have my next meal as normal. That’s made a bigger difference than I expected.
I’d been stuck on the same weights for months. Sending over my lifts and working through the feedback helped me progress again. There were things I hadn’t even realised I was doing wrong.
I had quite a few events and meals out during coaching, so I didn’t follow every meal exactly. I still lost fat and noticed my clothes fitting differently. It helped to know how to handle those days.
Asaad, I’m still surprised I’m finishing quicker at the gym and seeing better progress. I used to add extra exercises and stay much longer than I needed to. Now I know what I’m there to do.
I’m happiest with how much stronger I’ve got. Some of the weights I use now felt completely out of reach before. I can see changes in my shape too, even though I haven’t lost much on the scale.
The most useful thing is being able to work out what to eat without having the plan in front of me. If something isn’t available, I know how to replace it. Even a small change used to throw me off.
I work shifts, and my schedule changes every week. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to follow the program. Not having to eat or train at fixed times made it workable for me.
Getting back after the break was hard. I kept comparing myself to where I used to be and trying to rush it. Taking things gradually helped me settle back in. I’m enjoying training again.
I used to get really hungry at night, especially after trying to eat as little as possible all day. Once we adjusted my meals, I felt fuller and wasn’t thinking about food all evening. I actually liked the recipes too.
I kept telling myself I’d sort out my food and training after the next busy period. Then something else would come up. Having regular check-ins helped me make room for them instead of putting it off again.
I came back from a trip and picked up my routine again without much fuss. That’s new for me. It used to take weeks to get back into it. I feel more confident keeping my progress without worrying about every meal out.
